DELIVERING
EXCELLENT YOUTH WORK IN OUR COMMUNITY
Chalfont St. Peter Youth Centre - one of the most exciting places in the community for young people between the ages of 11-16 to spend their free time.
OUR HISTORY
During the second world war, 1939-1945, a large number of men and women from the Chalfont St Peter area gave their lives to serve their country. A number of local businesses and farmers wanted to show their appreciation for this service and as a result a barn (Tithe barn) was converted into a meeting place for service men and women returning from the war.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to create the best local resource for young people that will allow them to feel safe, achieve great things for themselves and others and enjoy the journey into adulthood. We value people from all generations and the unique contributions they make to each other in building a sustainable community.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to deliver excellent youth work in our community, through the core values of equality, respect, inclusiveness, valuing difference, empowerment, education and participation, contact with youth workers will enable young people to explore the interaction between themselves, their peers and society.
Chalfont St. Peter Youth Centre were formally presented with the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service - the country's highest accolade for volunteer community groups and the equivalent of an MBE for organisations! We would like to thank everyone for making the day so special, particularly all the community groups and organisations who came along to share with us and support the work of the CSP Youth centre.
The volunteers who deliver the youth work are committed to the highest level of care and safety.
A Fun & Friendly safe space for Young People, filled with opportunities to learn through a variety of activities and collaborative experiences.
We provide opportunities for young people to make good use of leisure time.
